As you can see, Wildfire Solutions’ new website is now online and we’re looking to make this a central source for information on our business, and to highlight work we have done for our clients. We’ve been working hard on it as we ramp up a lot of client projects, so we hope you like it!

We will also be posting information here on items of interest to us and to school and small-to-medium enterprises as we work to provide ever more value to everyone to whom we are connected.

Balance is important. We are all well aware of this fact! We talk about it all the time in our everyday lives. We mention it in reference to food we eat, hours of the day we spend working and resting, money we earn and spend. Balance is tightly integrated in human systems. What reminded me importance of balance is an article published in 'Time Online' last week. It is not the first time though that media distributed work from this author on this topic. The article stirred a lot of activity on Twitter, probably due to the use of word 'hoax' with a big $ figure attached to the title.

Designing Technology Infrastructure for Transformational Learning Spaces – part1

The definition of ‘transformational learning’ that resonates with my personal approach is:

Transformative learning is the expansion of consciousness through the transformation of basic worldview and specific capacities of the self; transformative learning is facilitated through consciously directed processes such as appreciatively accessing and receiving the symbolic contents of the unconscious and critically analysing underlying premises.
